ADS vs PRS Toss Prediction
Perth Scorchers have lost the toss in each of their last two matches so they are due this one. Adelaide may suit batting first and setting a big total.
ADS vs PRS Weather Report
There is zero chance of rain forecast in Adelaide, with temperatures set to be in the 30s and very little humidity too.
ADS vs PRS Pitch Condition
The drop-in pitch at the Adelaide Oval remains a good batting wicket
The first game for Alex Carey’s side against the Sydney Thunder was washed away by rain. But the captain would have drawn several positives from the last game. They had put up a decent score batting first in the game and most of their batsmen looked in good form. Their bowlers were found wanting on most counts during the limited time they bowled and will have to improve on that end. As the side plays its first home game of the season the skipper would want them to perform at their best against the strong side that the Perth Scorchers have.
Jake Weatherald batted well in the game and would expect to provide a good start in the company of Philip Salt. Carey and Jonathan Wells also looked in good form with the bat. Matthew Short who missed out in the last game would be looking to do well in the next one. Rashid Khan and Cameron White have good abilities with the bat down the order. Billy Stanlake will and Peter Siddle will need to do well with the new ball in the next game. They have a match-winner in Rashid Khan and he will need good support from the likes of Wes Agar and Cameron Valente in the next game.
It was a good win for Mitchell Marsh’s side in the last game against the Melbourne Renegades. They won the high scoring game by 11 runs with their bowlers successfully defending the score towards the end of the innings with some tight bowling. This victory would have boosted the confidence of the side which received a big thrashing at the hands of the Sydney Sixers in their opening game. They have done well against the Adelaide Strikers in recent seasons and this will give them confidence going into this game.
Openers Liam Livingstone and Josh Inglis will have to convert their starts into big scores in the next game. The middle-order for the side is in great form as the likes of Ashton Turner, Mitchell Marsh, and Cameron Bancroft are looking in great form at the moment. With Cameron Green down the order, they have a strong batting line-up. Chris Jordan is looking in good form with the ball for the side. They would expect better bowling efforts from the Jhye Richardson and Joel Paris in the next game. Mitchell Marsh, Aston agar and Fawad Ahmed add variety to the attack and they will need to bowl tighter lines in the next game.

Adelaide Strikers would play their first home game of the season at Adelaide Oval in the 2019-20 BBL where they will meet Perth Scorchers. Their first game of the season was washed away by rain and the side will be looking to make a positive start in front of their home crowd. Perth Scorchers come into the game after an impressive win and the side is likely to carry the same confidence into the next game. There are good hitters on both sides and on a small ground, we expect to see fireworks from both the teams.
It is a close call between the two sides at the moment but Adelaide Strikers by the virtue of playing at home shall start favorites to win this one.
