The best of the lot for the top rising stars of the IPL 2020. Although a senior player now considering the fact that he had already played two ODIs for India but still a strong force at the top.

Opening with Sunil Narine, Gill had scored runs in almost all the games. With two half-centuries with a highest score of 70*, Gill is the leading run-scorer for Kolkata Knight Riders and he’s also in the top 10 list of run-makers.

Shubman Gill has become a consistent member of the team. Opening the innings, the team always looks to have a strong performance from him to lead the innings. KKR is currently placed at number 4 on the points table and the team will definitely rely on him as they now look to seal their berth for the playoffs.

Gill was the man of the tournament at the ICC U19 World Cup 2018 that was won by India. He scored a century in the semifinal against Pakistan.

Devdutt Padikkal – Royal Challengers Bangalore

Probably the find of this year’s IPL. Devdutt Padikkal had impressed everybody this season. Started the campaign with a brilliant half-century in the team’s opening match, the 20-year old had scored three half-centuries in seven innings. With a highest score of 63, Padikkal is the second-highest run-scorer for RCB behind Virat Kohli, who surpassed Padikkal in the previous match.

Another, a little, senior player that had played Test cricket and scored a Test hundred on debut. Opening the innings for Delhi Capitals along with Shikhar Dhawan, Shaw is normally the aggressor. Dhawan is happy to give strike to Shaw and play has been playing a supportive role.

Prithvi Shaw is the second-highest run-scorer for DC behind his captain Shreyas Iyer. Delhi is comfortably sitting at the second position on the points table. With a highest score 66 and two half-centuries to his name, Shaw is leading the DC batting very nicely as they look to seal their spot for the final four places.

Shaw had captained India to a triumphant campaign at the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2018.

Ravi Bishnoi – Kings XI Punjab
