Toss Prediction

Karachi Kings have won the toss in their last three games, so Peshawar Zalmi should be winning this one and may elect to field first.

Weather Report

Zalmi should be expecting clear skies in Rawalpindi in a big improvement from the days of their last matches.

Pitch Condition

Rawalpindi tends to be hard and fast and helpful to quicker bowlers and quicker scorers.

Karachi Kings

It was a good win for Imad Wasim’s side against the Islamabad United in their last game and with this win, the side has ended its two-match losing spree. The skipper would be proud of the efforts of his side as they were clinical chasing a big score and never allowed the asking rate to rise throughout their innings. The only issue for the side is the performance of their bowlers which has been poor in most games. Having defeated Peshawar Zalmi in the earlier game of the season they would go into this contest with a great amount of confidence.

As far as batting is concerned the form of Babar Azam has become an issue. He will need to play a strong hand with this opening partner Sharjeel Khan who looks in good form at the moment. The middle-order did well in the last game with Cameron Delport and Alex Hales playing good knocks. With Imad Wasim and Chadwick Walton down the order batting line-up is looking in good shape ahead of the game. Their bowlers will have to improve their performance in the next game and the side will need a good start from Mohammad Amir and Umer Khan. Imad Wasim bowled well in the last game and shall look to carry his form. Chris Jordan and Umaid Asif will have to provide good support in this game.

Peshawar Zalmi

With their last game against Islamabad United United being washed away by rain, the next game would be a very important one for Daren Sammy’s side. They haven’t really excelled yet in the tournament and have had their issues both in batting as well as bowling. In their earlier game against the Karachi Kings, the side had suffered a defeat and this is likely to play on their minds. Sammy who has been an experienced campaigner in this format will have to get the best performance out of his players in the next game.

Their openers Kamran Akmal and Tom Banton look in good form and both these players have scored runs in the earlier games. The side will need a good start from them. In Liam Livingstone, Mohammad Mohsin and Haider Ali they have players in good form in the middle order. Lewis Gregory and Daren Sammy have good abilities with the bat down the order. Their bowlers haven’t really delivered in this tournament and Hasan Ali will need to start well with the new ball alongside Rahat Ali. Mohammad Amir Khan and Wahab Riaz will need to check their line and length. Gregory did well in the last game and this will add to the confidence of the side.

Our Prediction for KRK vs PSZ

Karachi Kings shall win this game

There have been some good games in the Pakistan Super League 2020 and the points table is taking shape. In the next game, Karachi Kings would be up against the Peshawar Zalmi in what would be a very important game for both sides. The side winning the game would strengthen its position on the points table and have a good chance of qualifying for the playoffs. With batsmen on both sides looking in good form it is expected to be a high scoring game at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

It will be a close contest but Karachi Kings with their stronger batting line-up would be expected to win this game on a flat surface.
