Mitchell Marsh, Perth Scorchers all-rounder has shown his all-round skill against Sydney Sixers to give his team the third win of the season. Marsh first scored an unbeaten 57 runs then returned with the ball to pick a wicket. With fifties from Marsh and Colin Munro, Scorchers posted the total of 183 at the Perth Stadium. The score proved to be too much for the Sixers as they were bundled out for just 97 runs.
The 30th match of the BBL 10 was played out between Perth Scorchers and Sydney Sixers at the Perth Stadium. After putting into bat by Sydney Sixers, Perth Scorchers posted a steep total of 183 runs courtesy a couple of half-centuries from Mitchell Marsh and Colin Munro. Then in return, they routed the Sixers batsmen and registered their third win of the season.

Jason Roy is not included in the England Test squad that is currently in Sri Lanka, so here he is opening with Liam Livingstone. Roy didn’t have a happy time in the middle. He stayed till the 14th over but only managed to score 27 runs off 31 balls with just two boundaries.
Livingston was the first to go in the 4th over after hitting two boundaries and one six.
In came, Colin Munro. The pair then added 65 runs together and in those 65 runs, 50 were from Munro. Looking dangerously but couldn’t clear the square leg in the 12th over and was out on 50 runs.
After the end of slow-paced innings from Roy, which ended in the 14th over, Mitchell Marsh and Josh Inglis combined together to put on another fifty-run stand. Marsh was the main aggressor, he remained not out on 57 runs off 27 balls that included seven fours and two sixes.
The innings ended at 183/4.

Sydney Sixers innings – Scorchers’ bowlers routed through Sixers’ batsmen
Target of 184, quite a big ask and the innings didn’t start as planned. Josh Philippe was the first to go in the second over. And after that, the innings never stabled and Sixers’ lose regular wickets.
Jack Edwards top-scored the innings with 44 runs off 38 balls but no other batsmen took the responsibility and took on the bowlers.
Jason Behrendorff started the collapse with the wicket in his first over and the other bowlers took over from it. Andrew Tye picked up four wickets, Jhye Richardson picked up three wickets, while Behrendorff, Fawad Ahmed, and Mitchell Marsh took one wicket apiece.
Sixers were all out for just 97 runs and lost their 3rd match of the season, though they are still on the top of the table.
