Peshawar Zalmi vs Quetta Gladiators Match Prediction, PSL 2020
In a repeat of last year’s final, Peshawar Zalmi will look to get their first win of the 2020 Pakistan Super League when they take on defending champions Quetta Gladiators, who started with a win this year. The match takes place on February 21 and is scheduled to start at 14:00 local time.
Quetta Gladiators started their title defence with a three-wicket win against Islamabad United, as Azam Khan’s 33-ball 59 helped them to 171/7 in 18.3 overs. Mohammad Hasnain had earlier claimed 4-25 to limit Islamabad to 168 all out.
Peshawar Zalmi, on the other hand, lost their opening game against Karachi Kings. Set 202 to win, they lost too many wickets early on and eventually finished on 191/7 despite Liam Livingstone leading the comeback with a middle-order half-century. Having lost to Quetta in last year’s final, and in the first play-off before that too, they have actually lost three of their last four matches now.
Both teams won the toss and fielded first in their opening games – a more successful tactic for the Gladiators, who could be keen to repeat that again.
A perfect, clear, hot, dry and sunny afternoon is awaiting in Karachi.
The Karachi National Stadium is a good batting track and the scores so far have proved that remains the case.
