Rohit Sharma’s salary as India’s new T20I and ODI captain has been disclosed

Rohit Sharma, the star Indian opener, was recently named India’s new limited-overs captain, and it would be fair to argue that the BCCI and selectors have rewarded him for his outstanding batsmanship. Virat Kohli has been replaced as Team India’s T20I and ODI captain by Rohit Sharma. Kohli, it should be noted, is still the captain of the Indian Test team.

Rohit Sharma has been the captain of the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League for a long time, and the squad has won five titles under his watchful eye.

It should be mentioned that Rohit Sharma has previously captained the team when Kohli was on a break to relax or was unable to play due to injury or other reasons. Rohit has captained the Indian T20 squad 22 times and won 18 of those matches as a stand-in captain.

Rohit Sharma was named India’s ODI skipper just days before the commencement of the country’s tour to South Africa. Rohit has captained India in ten One-Day Internationals, winning eight of them. While Rohit has been named the Indian cricket team’s ODI captain, his remuneration will stay the same. Sharma, along with Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah, already has an A+ contract with the BCCI. A+ contract players get Rs 7 crore per year.
