Few hours before the Kolkata Knight Riders take on the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Sunil Narine has been cleared for suspect bowling action. As he is now cleared, he is no longer on the warning list and can return to bowling without any extra factors looking at his bowling.
Both Sunil Narine and Kolkata Knight Riders were surprised when the bowler had been put on the warning list.
Narine has been put on the warning list following the game against Kings XI Punjab, in which the mystery bowler defended 14 off the final over.
The IPL officials said the spinner can continue to bowl but will be banned from bowling this season if reported again.
Now that he is off the suspect list, he does not risk being banned if reported again.
The lead spinner is expected to be back for the Knight Riders next fixture.
Despite being cleared earlier today, the spinner has not been included in the side for the game against Sunrisers.
He may not have been included as his side feels he requires more time to get into the groove before bowling in a match.
