Since the start of IPL, Suresh Raina has been the top and key performer for Chennai Super Kings. He is the leading run-scorer for the team with 5,368 runs in 189 games. The left-hander is also the second-highest run-getter in the history of the game falling behind Virat Kohli by just 44 runs. He and Kohli often plays cat and mouse show in becoming the leading run-scorer.

Suresh Raina has recently announced his international retirement on 15th August alongside his Indian and CSK captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni who also announced his international retirement hours before him.
